Message Board Terms of Use
You must be 13 years or older to use the message boards.
The following is not allowed on the message boards:
·Offensive Material - The transmitting or the encouragement of transmitting any material that is offensive in nature is not permitted. This includes but is not limited to: vulgarity, defamation, libel, harassment, hate-speech and the like.
·Vulgarity - Vulgar language is not permitted unless it is completely obscured. For example, if “Kirby” was a vulgar term, the only correct way of censoring it would look like this: “*****”. Adding an “ed”, “ing”, etc. at the end of the censor is permitted.
· Flaming and Trolling - Flaming is the term used to describe posts that are intentionally insulting. Do not purposely insult others. Trolling refers to provoking others to respond by flaming. Do not incite flames by trolling
· Illegal Activity - Posts that violate, or incite others to violate the law, are not allowed.
· Advertising - No advertising is allowed on the message boards.
· Topicality - Please stay on topic when posting. Topicality is not as enforced when on the social boards.
· Disruptive Posting - Please try to type in coherent sentences. ALL CAPS and AlTeRnAtInG CaPs are annoying and are not permitted. Posting links that disrupt the normal function of browsers are likewise not permitted.
· Spoilers - If you are going to be posting plot spoilers for a game, movie, or a book for example, clearly mark the post with a large “SPOILERS” tag in order to prevent one from being spoiled.
· Impersonation - Do not impersonate any user on the message boards. Stick to your own identity.
Image Terms of Use
Hidden Palace Zone LLC’s sites typically display images as part of blog posts written by our editors. The types of images editors are authorized to use on Hidden Palace Zone LLC’s sites include:
· Images licensed from photographic archive vendors.
· Images supplied to our editors or released into the public domain by public relations and marketing companies for press purposes.
· Reader-submitted images, with the implied representation that the person submitting the image owns the copyright in the image and the right to give it to us for use on our site(s).

If Hidden Palace Zone LLC receives notice that an image posted is not in keeping with these terms and conditions or the intended use of the Comments section where it is posted, we reserve to right to remove that image.
If you think we have published an image or text that infringes your copyright, we will address your concerns; however, if the image falls into one of the categories listed above, we believe that our use of the image is legitimate and we will not remove it from the site.

· We will not comply with requests to remove an image where the complainant cannot prove that they own the copyright in the image in question.
· Include the following statement: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
· Sign the document and contact us.
Please note that you will be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you materially misrepresent that any material on our sites is infringing your copyrights.
Indeed, in a recent case a company that sent an infringement notification seeking removal of online materials that were protected by the Fair Use doctrine was ordered to pay such costs and attorneys’ fees. The company agreed to pay over $100,000. Accordingly, if you are not sure whether material available online infringes your copyright, we suggest that you first contact an attorney.
We also reserve the right to publish your letter on the site(s).
