Will Netflix begin offering its video streaming services on a Nintendo console now? It seems as if the thought is there, but no confirmation exists at this time. Back in March, there was a survey that suggested the possibility of Netflix streaming on the Wii. Now, that same survey resurfaced with a minor change. Joystiq highlights this change for us:

As you can see, the new survey removed the $9.99 initial charge for the start-up disc. It looks like Netflix is testing the waters a bit to see what the best course of action would be if it wants to implement a video streaming service on the Wii. However, there is an obstacle that could ruin everything. Nintendo is planning a video service of its own, which if successful, could come overseas. Steve Swasey, Netflix vice president of corporate communications, said, “We’re always interested in expanding the Netflix streaming functionality, but Xbox 360 is the exclusive console for now.”
