When Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars debuted on the Nintendo DS in March, it was met with critical praise.  It was also met with lackluster sales, reaching a maximum of 90,000 units sold (which is mediocre considering the Nintendo DS installed base and franchise recognition).  Not to let a good game go to waste, Rockstar will be bringing GTA: Chinatown Wars to the PSP this fall (in UMD format as well as a digital download for the PSP G0, which will be available in North America on October 1st).

The game will not be a port according to Rockstar.  Some enhancements include widescreen graphics, improved lighting and animations, and new story missions.  It looks like it’s shaping up to be the definitive version no doubt.
