If you already bought Animal Crossing: City Folk, for shame. Didn’t you hear? There’s a NEWER and more EXCITING version on the horizon! After the multiple complaints issued by gamers, stating that Animal Crossing: City Folk was “more of the same”, Nintendo is trying to rectify the problem with Animal Crossing: New York City Folk.
It’s different alright, and we couldn’t be more happier. This is what next generation is all about, right? Finally, some enhanced visuals and new townspeople. Yeah, townspeople. You’re not the only person in a village of animals anymore. Nintendo opted for a more… realistic experience.
Also, the mission system has been revamped with new missions. No more “bring this wallpaper to this neighbor, blah blah blah.” Instead, the favors you can do for your townspeople are more varied and interesting.
Oh. And Nook’s place has been replaced by a Wal-Mart. Just saying.

Vinny, I’m pretty sure that’s O’Shea Jackson, not Tyrone…and Jamal should know that the crack you sell is god-awful.
^ Sir, I am appalled that you would think that.
